HIS BEARD IS MINE

At last a bearded boy of my very own, hallelujah!! One of my very own, a beard that protects me, a beard that comforts me, a beard that makes me happy, a beard that is strong and true. And tis mine all mine. :-)

Oh how long I have searched for a beard of my very own and now I have one. And it is everything, and more , than I could ever have hoped for. He is my protector and my strength, just like the bearded men in stories of old. My bearded man makes me happier than a one who has been lost in the dessert and just found water. Happier than a shepherd who has just found his lost sheep. Happier than a, well you get the picture. I am more than happy with my bearded man.

Just like the bearded men in my blogs before, he is all that I expected my bearded man to be. He is a man. He is a leader. He is strong. Above all he is mine. I am glad that I have found this bearded man of mine.

I would not swap him for a moustache
I would not swap him for an exquisite tash
I would not swap him for a beardie rash
I would not swap him for a movemeber moustache
I will keep him , this bearded man of mine
For this is one beard that I do not wish to part.

Tash-ra

So I have recently re-found my love for watching cartoons. At the moment that means I have been watching rather a lot of 'thundercats' and 'she-ra'. I have found that my lusting after 'the man with facial hair' crosses over into the realm of the cartoon world as well as the real world.

I find myself unable to stop myself having a crush on any character that that sports either a beard or a moustache. Thus this week I found myself, somewhat un-naturally, gravitating towards the tash tastic charm of 'Bow' from 'she-ra'.

When we are first introduced to 'Bow' he is sitting in a disguise in the middle of a bar in a small village that is being terrorised by the hordes troopers. He quietly observes as the Horde enter and start to antagonise the local villagers. He-man who has entered Etheria in search of She-ra quickly comes to the aid of the villagers and Bow then comes to the aid of He-man introducing himself as being part of the great rebellion.

As soon as this 'man' takes off his caped disguise I was instantly mesmerised by this cartoon man. I am not afraid to say that it is more than likely that the reason I felt this instant spark was because he is sporting a rather fetching moustache.

The rest of Etheria of course is blown over by Prince Adam/ He-man, more full them. For me the true eye candy of Etheria had to be without a doubt Bow. This fighter of the rebellion running Etheria with his manly facial hair single handedly taking down the horde with no powers, unlike the females that he is surrounded by, just his sheer manliness.

I instantly want to follow him in his rebellion and quickly see why the rest of the team are all females. It would seem that they have gravitated towards him and join the rebellion, in my opinion, because this gentle man/ warrior has extended an invitation to them and without realising it themselves it is because they have been drawn towards the gentle charms of the moustache.

Who could refuse the gentlemanly charms of a gentleman disguised as a warrior. As apart from when he is fighting he is a true gentleman to all he encounters, a true ambassador of the moustache. He is gracious and kind to He-man as well as the ladies of Etheria. His moustache seems to give him confidence in which he seems to be un threatened by all who he comes in contact with. His moustache defines his character, it is the very essence of him. Giving him both the qualities of a gentleman and a manly warrior.

Bow you are Bow Tastic and I have to say you leave me a little disappointed that you are not a real tash wearing man, but I can fantasise about you nonetheless and fantasise I will.

A BEARD OF CHEER.

Well my bearded lovers it is that time of year again, 'the most wonderful time of the year'. And there is only one bearded man that could possible grace this spot at this time of year. Do you know who it is? well here is a clue.

"He was dressed all in fur from his head to his foot.
And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;
A bundle of toys he flung on his back,
And he looked like a peddler just opening his sack.
His eyes how they twinkled! his dimples how merry!
His cheeks were like roses, His nose like a cherry;
His droll little mouth was all drawn up like a bow,
And the beard on his chin was as white as snow.
The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,
And the smoke it encircled his head like a wreath.
He had a broad face, and a little round belly
That shook when he laughed like a bowl full of jelly.
He was chubby and plump,--a right old jolly elf--
And I laughed when I saw him in spite of myself."

Clement C Moore 1822.

Have you guessed it yet....?????

There could only be one man who could possible take the spot on this month. Yes that is Father Christmas, Santa Claus, Saint Nicholas, Papa Noel, Papai Noel, Babbo Natale.

He is the original beard trend setter, with his beard white as snow.

Today someone shared a story with me of how their daughter can tell the real Santa Claus from the 'pretend' ones. The real one has a real white beard and wears white gloves not red!

I don't think there is anyone at Christmas time who could say that they don't like beards, as that would be like saying they don't like Christmas!

As what would Christmas be with out our bearded ssanta who brings hope and joy to so many at this time of year.

His beard is that of kindness, care and love. His beard is of hope, joy and giving. His beard transports us back to a more simpler time a time when elves stole in to our rooms in the middle of the night deciding who had been, 'naughty and nice.' His beard is the very essence of our childhood. His beard offers us comfort and makes us feel safe. It tells us that all even if it is for one day only all will be right with the world, as what bad thing could happen at christmas with Father Christmas watching over us.

So this blog is for him. The oldest beard of them all, the one and only Santa Claus!!!

A dashing Tash

well once again my beard and tash lovers it is movember again. Who better to use as our style icon than the one and only Mr Clark Gable. Fiddle-de-dee how handsome is he. If ever there was a man that could wear a tash with power and pride it is he.

So handsome was he with his tash that it inspired Judy Garland to write a tribute love song to him:

You made me love you
I didn't want to do it, I didn't want to do it
You made me love you
and all the time you knew it
I guess you always knew it.
You made me happy sometimes, you made me glad
But there were times, Dear, you made me feel so bad

You made me sigh for, I didn't want to tell you
I didn't want to tell you
I want some love that's true, yes I do, deed I do, you know I do

Give me, give me, give me what I cry for
you know you got the brand of kisses that I'd die for
You know you made me love you

so as we can see even the delightful Miss Garland was captivated by Mr Gable's moustache. The moustache that carries such grace and elegance. The moustache that allows even the most open of men to hide behind and become more interesting and alluring. The power of the moustache is a curious one. The moustache allows mystery and with mystery comes desire, a desire to know what lies behind the man with the moustache.

Mr Gables character in 'Gone with the wind' as Rhett Butler backs up this theory. We are instantly drawn to Rhett Butler and are forever trying to work out the man behind the moustache.

as the song goes, "You made me love you
I didn't want to do it, I didn't want to do it
You made me love you".

And so it is for the tash, you made us love you. We did not want to do it but you still made us love you against all the odds.
we heart you Mr Gable and all you movember men.

BILL AND BEN BEARDED FLOWER POT MEN

Ok so these two are not called 'Bill and Ben' but 'Ben and Adam'. I am also pretty sure they don't live in a flower pot, but who can be sure.

I have a lot of love for these two bearded men. Not only do they self express through facial hair, but they also do so through dress and through the media of radio. Quite the package. Beards. check! Style. check! Interesting. check! There really is not much more a beard loving girl could ask for.

Not only visually are they a dream to behold but their sensual and soothing voices brings music to ones ears also.

Thus one might say they have 'human super powers'. That being, a beard that can make a beard loving gal go week at the knees and radio voices that the ladies go 'radio gaga' for!! ooohh lala, it don't get much better than this ladies.....for shizzle!!!

Not only this but they are showing the younger generation that any one can indeed sport a beard. That the glory of the beard does not have to to be left to the 'older' and 'mature' gentleman to claim but that the younger generation too can claim some of the beard loving glory.

I don't know waht else to say, other than if you like what you see log on to safe radio and listen and check out these 'flower pot men' for yourselves. I can garantee you won't be disapointed....in fact you'll be in for a treat!!!

BEARDING AROUND LA LA LAND

It seems the beard has gone global and the must have accessory for the MAN on the red carpet is nothing other than the beard we all heart so much!! This is like sweet music to my ears because as soon as it hits hollywood it means it is now socially acceptable and here to stay for a while at least! yeah GGGGOOOOOOOOOOOO BBBEEAARRDDSS!

So this means that beards will start to filter in to mainstream, as once a boy clocks a look at a beard on the likes of Clooney and the rest of these delightful beard wearing men, they too will have the desire to challenge the designer stubble they are now adorning crying inside, 'anything you can do I can do better. I can do anything better than you!'

Tis like a dream come true for us beard loving girls. It means with out pressure from us they will start the beard growth process all on their own, yeah!

now for those of you reading this who might still be in doubt about the effect of the beards I am going to share with you a little story about the power of the beard and the 'swooning' effect it has on the beard lovers.

Earlier this week I was going about my daily business in work when suddenly the most attractive bearded man came into my place of work. Now granted this man was not attractive through beard alone but the beard did indeed increase the power that he held over me. The power of this particular mans beard made me 'swoon' within. I had to bury myself in my work because so strong was the effect of the beard that upon glancing at him I could feel myself blushing inside and out. It would also make me smile and sort of giggle without being able to control myself. He was beardelicious!!!

The beard can make us beard loving females loose control. The beard can make us take a second glance were we might have at first glance not stopped and let an otherwise attractive man walk on by. The beard can make us smile when perhaps nothing else that day will. The beard can give us hope. The beard makes us once again believe in man. Dont ever under estimate the power of the beard. It has a power that cannot be explain. It just is.

So thank you LA LA Land for making the beard a red carpet 'must have item' for this season it makes us beard loving ladies very happy indeed. We are smiling outside and in.
